Hulu announced the release date of “Hellraiser“, Reimagining the 1987 horror classic and released the first teaser.
The film is expected to hit Hulu in the US on October 7 as part of “Huluween,” the US streaming service’s celebration of horror.
The original 1987 film directed by Clive Barker sullies the script “The Hellhound Heart” which first introduced the monstrous Pinhead, and starred Clare Higgins, Ashley Laurence, Andrew Robinson, Sean Chapman, Robert Hines, Doug Bradley, Nicholas Vince, Simon Bamford, Grace Kirby and Oliver Smith. The 2022 film is directed by David Bruckner (The Night House) and follows a young woman battling her addictions who interacts with an ancient puzzle, unaware that in doing so she is summoning a supernatural evil from in another dimension. In the cast we have Odessa A’zion (Great Army), Jamie Clayton (The L Word: Generation Q), Adam Faison (Everything Will Be Okay), Drew Starkey (Foreign Banks), Brandon Flynn (Ratched), Aoife Hinds (The Long Call), Jason Liles (Stereoscope), Yinka Olorunnife (The transferor), Selina Lo (Boss level), Zachary Hing (mix), Kit Clarke (Leonardo), Goran Visnjic (The boys) and Hiam Abbass (Succession).
