Previously, Steve Blackman, showrunner of the series, had commented on the possibilities of the fourth season being the last. “I think, inevitably, if we have a 4th season, we’re going to be game over,” he said. The Wrap. “At a certain point, I’m not sure where we would go after season four. We need to be careful.”
“My plan for the year to come is not to continually step on the same ground we walked on before,” he continued. Blackman. “It’s a challenge to come up with a way to subvert that plot, and we have an idea of how to do that. But if we get to Season 4, it would be a great ending to the series,” continued the showrunner.
I’m not saying I couldn’t do more, but you know, it would be very satisfying for the audience, four seasons.
Umbrella Academy: How will Klaus react to the lack of powers in Season 4? actor responds
[Atenção: spoilers de Umbrella Academy abaixo]
the third season of Umbrella Academyseries of Netflix based on the comics of the same name by Gerard Way and Gabriel Báended with a shocking event: all the brothers Hargreeves managed to save the world’s destruction, but were left without powers, while the foster father, Reginald Hargreevesbuilt his own billionaire empire.
Robert Sheehaninterpreter of Klaus Hargreeves in the series, spoke to CinemaBlend about how the character, who has powers to communicate with the dead and use spirits as weapons, should react to the fact that he loses his abilities.
“I suppose I was always secretly looking forward to a possible moment when the team umbrella lose the powers of, you know, super glitches,” said Sheehan in the interview. “So I was very pleased. It’s the ideal kind of fish-out-of-water plot, isn’t it? When you set up these adults who, forever, were made to be very capable superheroes.”
“So the most interesting theatrical idea is to subvert that notion, and so take them out of all that, and see what they are without it,” the actor continued. “I really hope that without it, Klaus be an absolute mess. I would like to see this. Just completely incapable of being a normal person. That’s really all I want.”
This will keep me very entertained for another season of this show. And after that, who knows? Who knows how the plot will unfold?
