The “Pantanal” child actor regains consciousness after being hit by a car

Child actor Gustavo Corasini, who gave life to the character Tadeu in the first phase of the soap opera “Pantanal”, regained consciousness after suffering a serious accident last Tuesday (23/8). The 12-year-old boy spoke to his mother for the first time in the hospital.

“Let’s pray and thank God for his miracle”, the young artist’s mother celebrated on Instagram, thanking the solidarity chain on social media. “Thank you all for such a beautiful message,” she wrote.

Gustavo Corasini was hit by a car in Sao Paulo, together with Eduardo Souza, a friend of the same age, who could not resist his injuries and died. While decorating the street of the apartment building where they live with World Cup flags, the boys were hit by a neighbor who was reversing her car.

According to the account published on the actor’s social media, the driver went to make way for an ambulance, called to help an injured bricklayer in a job in the neighborhood, but he lost control of the vehicle and pushed the children against the Wall.

Last Wednesday (25/8), Gustavo needed to place a probe. “It was painful, but it passed,” says the young man’s mother. “He still wants to vomit because of the drugs. New x-rays have been done and we will know if everything is 100% with the surgeries (which have already been done),” she explained.

The boy had fractures in his leg, arm and pelvis.

“He is very sleepy all day, but we talked a lot at dawn when he woke up,” celebrated the mother. Through social networks, she praised the work of the entire medical team of the Santa Marcelina Hospital. “Although it is a public hospital, as we know, it lacks a lot, but the human strength and love of professionals overcome all difficulties,” she said.

According to the boy’s advice, Gustavo was also informed of his friend’s death and wept a lot. A crowdfunding for Eduardo’s funeral expenses was created on social media.
