The big news for Jason Momoa this weekend has been all the hype surrounding the premiere of the latest season of his Apple TV + series. Watch. It was exactly in this one before that Momoa’s eagle-eyed fans from the start of his career may have seen a reunion of another of the actor’s popular shows. It would be nothing more than Stargate: Atlantiswhen a couple of the actor’s longtime co-stars showed up for a photo at the third season premiere.
He would have been forgiven for not achieving the great Stargate: Atlantis meeting while he was buried in a photo dump other photos of the Watch first. Joe Flanigan and David Hewlett have both made appearances in various episodes of Watchso their appearance at the event makes a lot of sense, but it’s still nice to see all three of them together and look good so many years later.
Also, in my opinion, it’s worth noting that Joe Flanigan looks almost unrecognizable with gray hair and a beard. Don’t get me wrong, this ages like a fine wine, but it took me a second to scroll through to get to a kind of aha moment. In fact, I don’t even think I would have made the connection when he appeared as “The Military” if Flanigan’s appearance in Watch was not announced in advance.
David Hewlett also nodded to the meeting in one of his comments. instagram post, noting:
We’re still a pretty heterogeneous group, aren’t we? And he’s my elegant boyfriend [Joe Flanigan] on the left shoulder! What a pleasure to strut with these gentlemen again. Thanks again [Jason Momoa]You are a star with the soul of a poet and a giant beating heart of gold, my friend!
More than a decade has passed since then Stargate: Atlantis ended its cable run and it’s been nearly two decades since the show got the green light and embarked on the journey to win Stargate SG-1 Fans. Jason Momoa has since skyrocketed thanks to his role as “gate” (sorry). game of Thrones as Khal Drogo and then work as water man at the DCEU, among other concerts. Momoa may have played a lot of tough roles already, but he’s still interested in creating for the television format and the actor’s fans have taken advantage of it.
He is also clearly interested in working with friends from his past and I wouldn’t be too surprised if a Stargate: Atlantis such a meeting is repeated at some point in the future. At least one girl could wait.
Unfortunately, Watch it’s about to hit its third and final premiere, but not before it was one of the first shows to really drive those Apple TV + subscriptions. The Apple TV + series may end, but from the footage it looks like it’s going to be great.
