Disney + has gone through a drought in recent months. Although we have usually had at least one major Disney + original series from Marvel or Lucasfilm, like Mrs. Wonder This is Obi-Wan Kenobi to keep us going, this has largely been the case. However, September looks a little better, if only because we’re getting two great Disney + original series from Marvel. Yes Lucasfilm.
But that is not all. September will also bring us Disney +. Last year, Disney + Day was celebrated on the anniversary of the launch of streaming services in November, but Disney’s streaming Christmas will come sooner and that means plenty of new shows and movies to enjoy.
Disney + Day will arrive on September 8, and there is plenty for fans to do. Marvel fans who have been waiting Thor: love and thunder being available at home won’t wait any longer, as the latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe will come with a behind-the-scenes look. We will also have a preview of BTS at Obi-Wan Kenobi series. Pixar fans will be treated for all nine episodes of car on the street a new animated series starring Lightning McQueen and Mater. And we also have the first major Disney + original movie in a while and the latest live-action adaptation of a Disney animated classic, featuring Pinocchio.

While Disney + Day will bring a lot of new features to the service, there are still some goodies left in the latter part of the month. First, we’ll see the premiere of dance with the stars on Disney +, which will see the popular reality competition switch to streaming from ABC. This will be the first show regularly streamed on Disney +, making it a big deal and a potential preview of things to come.
We will also see the debut of the new Star Wars series, Andor. At least we hope to do so. The show was supposed to be launched at the end of August, but was postponed to September. Three episodes will air on the first day.
Finally, on the eve of October, we will see the start of the Hocus Pocus 2the long-awaited sequel to the family cult classic Halloween.
