Meg Bellamy will make her television debut as the Duchess of Cambridge – here’s what we know about the actress
One of the most popular productions from Netflix, The Crown (2016) has just defined who will be the responsible actors to give life to the prince William and Kate Middleton. According to The Suna Netflix wants to attract more audience to the series.
After an exhaustive casting process, casting directors Nina Gold and Robert Sterne chose to cast two actors for the monarch, portraying him as he goes from teenager to young adult through Rufus Kampa and Ed McVey. Already Meg Bellamy will play the Duchess.
Who is Meg Bellamy?
MegBellamy19, a native of Berkshire, studied performing arts at St Crispin’s School, located in Wokingham, not far from the village where Kate lived with her family as a girl.
The actress will make her television debut as the Duchess of Cambridge after answering an open casting call on social media. Until the moment, Bellamy involved only in amateur dramas.

Bellmay will play the mother of three during her years at the University of St Andrews between 2001 and 2005, when her relationship with Prince William began. The pair studied Art History together (although William later changed his major to Geography, reportedly on Kate’s advice).
