The Fabelmans – Here is the Italian trailer of Steven Spielberg’s new movie

After a warm reception at the film’s world premiere on Saturday 10 September at 47th edition of the Toronto International Film Festivalwith long applause and unanimous enthusiasm from the critics, Leone Film Group and Rai Cinema presented the Italian trailer of The Fabelmansthe highly anticipated new film from the four-time Academy Award winner Steven Spielberg, already referred to by the NY Post as “the best movie of the year”.

Directed by Steven Spielberg, The Fabelmans was written by Spielberg himself and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tony Kushner, a longtime collaborator of the director and Oscar nominee for his screenplays for Lincoln And Munich. The film tells the story of sixteen-year-old Sammy Fabelmans who, growing up in post-World War II Arizona, discovers the magic and saving power of cinema.

The Fabelmans was created by Kristie Macosko Krieger (West Side Story, The Post), Steven Spielberg, Tony Kushner, Carla Raij and Josh McLaglen. Sammy Fabelman plays the role of the young aspiring director Gabriel LaBelle (The Predator, American Gigolo series); Mitzi’s mother is Michelle Williams (4-time Oscar nominee), Burt’s father is Paul Dano And Seth Rogen plays Bennie Loewy, Burt’s best friend and the children’s “honorary uncle”, while the Oscar nominee Judd Hirsch it was Boris, the mother’s uncle.

The music is of John Williams, five-time Academy Award winner, the costumes are by Mark Bridges and the production designer is Rick Carter, two-time Oscar winner. Editing is by Michael Kahn ACE and three-time Oscar winner Sarah Broshar. The film’s director of photography is Janusz Kaminski, a two-time Oscar winner.

The Fabelmans is an exclusive for Italy Leone Film Group in collaboration with Rai Cinema and will be released in theaters on 15 December 2022 with 01 Distribution. Below you can see the trailer:
