The new film’s announced Superman developed by Ta-Nehisi Coates and will see JJ Abrams return a version of the Kryptonian hero played by Henry Cavill.
According to a new rumor that has surfaced over the past few hours, the film’s script – currently nearing completion – could leave more than a glimmer for the return of the one who is still the official face ofIron man in the DC Extended Universe.
In support of this recklessness, just a few days ago we reported how among the preferences of the new management Discovery of Warner Bros. had to enhance the character of Superman, which has been left on the sideline by DC Films creatives in recent years. Coates was hired in February 2021 to write a new film dedicated to Superman, who will also see JJ Abrams as a producer. Moments later it emerged that Coates ’script was centered around a Kryptonian of color. Early speculation led to the thought that the film’s main character matches Val-Zodang Superman of Earth-2, however but in May 2021 it was announced that the main character of the new film would be himself. Kal-Eland then Clark Kent.
An industry insider recently said that Coates will present a new draft of the film script at Warner Bros. in the days to come. Of course, with the emergence of this new recklessness, the hope is to see Henry Cavill as Kal-El they are no longer zero. However, it remains to be seen what Coates and Abrams ’final choice will be on the creative path to pursue, with the studio’s strategic choices that at this stage still seem to be determined.
The film of Superman Coates currently has no set release date.
