THE Marvel Studios recently announced news about Black Panther: Wakanda Forevernovelty that became a song by Rihanna in honor of Chadwick Boseman.
Titled “Lift Me Up,” the singer’s music video includes images from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As well as being a tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman, the director Ryan Coolerdescribed the song as perfect for capturing the themes of the new film.
“Rihanna, she is amazing, we know that she is working on different things, her business, motherhood, and a great theme music for the movie. We are confident, we hope that it will work, but it works well.”
After the death of T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman), Wakanda finds itself without a King and without the Black Panther to face a new threat: Namor the Sub-Mariner (Tenoch Huerta), King of Atlantis, intends to destroy the country on earth to get the young engineer Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne), aka Heart of steel. Shuri (Letitia Wright), Okay (Danai Gurira), M’Baku (Winston Duke) and le Dora Milaje they have to find ways to protect Wakanda and lead the country to victory.
In the direction of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was re-committed to Ryan Coogler while in the cast we will see many familiar faces returning from the first film including Letitia Wright, Danai Gunira, Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett And Martin Freeman. Among the new entries, however, should be noted Michaela Coel And Tenoch Huerta. The latter was accepted for the role of Namor the Sub-MarinerKing of Kingdom of Talocan. According to some rumors about the plot, the film will deal with the “intertwined history” between the countries Wakanda and a lost underwater city, two civilizations united by a long rivalry and isolation from the outside world. He will also make his film debut Dominique Thorne in the role of a young woman Riri Williamsexpect future series for Disney + Heart of steel.
