There is a party. And it’s not just one more. Karamelo Santo turns 30. And it does so with the launch of “Venceremos”, his new album.
Yes, the three decades of music will be celebrated with more music. Can the album, number 20, be heard for the first time in a special show that the group will give in the neighborhood of Buenos Aires in Palermo.
The appointment is Friday, May 13, at Lucille. There, “Venceremos” will sound for the first time.
Why this title? Because the band led by Goy Karamelo considers it necessary to raise the need not to be overwhelmed by despair. “This material offers a great celebration in ‘Fiesta’, the observation of nature and the inner search in ‘Casita’, ‘Flor de Cactus’ and ‘El Heladero’ and establishes a position on the disbelief of the leaders in ‘Aparato Estado’,” they explained from the group.
The work has the participation of musicians very close and dear to the group like “Arbolito”, the artistic producer “Charlie Desidney”, the group Jujuy “La Jugular Reggae”, from Neuquén “Noe Pucci”, as well as with “Razaman” from Oregon, USA; representatives of the authentic Uruguayan murga, the mendocinos of the “Murga La Buena Moza”.
“Venceremos” will also be available in all digital stores next Friday, May 13, the same day that Karamelo Santo presents it, starting at 8:00 p.m.
