The results showed that, up to a certain point, the frequency of sexual intercourse is well correlated with feelings of happiness, mutual love and satisfaction with the union. However, this addiction disappears at some point: experts have found that people who have sex once a week are also satisfied with the relationship, as are those who do it much more often.

It turned out that the emotional connection with a partner is also important. In other words, daily hugs, kisses and touches are just as important as sex – they make people feel loved. But gender, age, and length of relationship don’t matter: the “once a week” rule works for a wide variety of people and marriages.
