Wandinha: Showrunner reveals what to expect from season 2

One of the biggest hits of Netflix in 2022, Wandinha premiered just over a week ago, but those responsible for the series are already talking about the next seasons. However, it is worth remembering that, so far, streaming has not yet renewed the series for the second year.

“The series is really about a girl who sees the world in black and white and learns that there are shades of gray,” said the executive. “Like any relationship or friendship, it can be complicated by other factors. It’s never going to be smooth sailing. And it’s really her learning to navigate the ups and downs of friendship.”

Furthermore, Millar explained how the series explored only a little bit of the franchise The Addams Family: “We feel like we’ve only just scratched the surface with these characters and the cast is so incredible in these roles. Catherine [Zeta-Jones] is, I think, one Morticia iconic.”

The relationship between Wandinha and Morticia is also essential to the series, and the idea that Wandinha trying to forge one’s own path outside the family is important.
