The Houston rapper says that after staying all day at Jenner’s house, he was tired and ready to go home. As she got into the car with one of her oldest friends, Lane (née Deister Peterson), and two other women, Megan said an argument broke out between the women in the backseat. He said he asked the driver to get out and let him go, tearfully telling King to stay out of the car and never get back in.

Lanes is charged with firearms assault and other firearm possession charges in 2020. He pleads not guilty. Stallion initially told police that he had cut his leg on broken glass, but it was later revealed that he had sustained a gunshot wound. After the media reported that Lanes had fired a gun, she laid the blame squarely on him in an August 2020 Instagram video.
In an interview with King, Megan said the shooter “was standing at the window and shooting. And I didn’t want to move. I didn’t want to move too fast. Because I say: Oh my God!
