HBO Hires Development of Dave Eggers Novel “For All”

HBO Claims Rights to Dave Eggers Novel Each And it develops the series according to the book.

Rachel Axler (Veep, daily program) adapts the novel, which is a sequel to Eggers’ 2013 book. circle (Adapted from a 2017 film starring Emma Watson and Tom Hanks.) A potential series will follow what happens when the world’s biggest tech company merges with the planet’s dominant e-commerce site to create the richest monopoly, most dangerous and, oddly enough, most beloved he ever had.

The book revolves around a woman who gets a job at The Every with the intention of taking it from the inside.

“In this equally terrifying and hilarious cautionary tale, Dave Eggers shows the rising cost of a life of disorder that technology offers,” said Amy Gravit, executive vice president of HBO. “As he writes, ‘Nothing described here has ever happened, but probably will,’ and what better starting point for an HBO comedy script?”
