Colin Farrell even revealed that he starts filming The Batman spin-off about Penguin in February 2023

“The only thing I had an idea with was that I wasn’t getting to explore the character as much as I wanted to,” said the actor in the conversation. “Because there was all this extraordinary work by Mike Marino and mike fontaineyour team.”
