Check out the top releases and sequels debuting on streams this year, from The Last Of Us to The Watchful Eyes

Releases on major streams are busy for series lovers due to premieres that should take place in the next 12 months of this year. This is because several platforms prepare the sequence of award-winning productions, acclaimed by the public and critics, as well as new titles that arrive in the first month of the year to the catalogs.

One of the highlights that arrive now in the month of January at HBO Maxfor example, is the series The Last of Uswhose first season arrives on the service’s catalog on January 15th. The series is an adaptation of the video game of the same name, inspired by the characters Joel and Ellie. After 20 years of the destruction of modern civilization in a post-apocalyptic scenario, Joel (Pedro Pascal), a survivor of a pandemic caused by a fungus that turns humans into a species of zombies, has the mission to protect Ellie (Bella Ramsey), a young person who plays a fundamental role in the search for a cure.

Also in January, another highlight is Kaleidoscopepromise of Netflix slightly inspired by the real case of diversion of 70 billion dollars in shares in Manhattan, during the passage of Hurricane Sandy, in 2012. The series has Giancarlo Esposito, peace vega, Rufus Sewell, Tati Gabrielle, Peter Mark Kendall, Rosaline Elbay, Jai Courtney, Niousha Noor, Jordan Mendoza, Soojeong Son and Hemky Madera confirmed in the cast and already premiered, right on the 1st day of the year.
