This ‘unbearable’ symptom screams about cancer: Oncologist observation

Recently, American oncologists shared a new observation that completes the picture of cancer development. According to them, most often patients with suspected cancer had a common symptom, which they described as “unbearable”. We are talking about the strongest fatigue that appears even during rest.

Oncologists clarified that such a complaint, as a rule, occurs in patients already in the late stages of the development of the disease. Increased fatigue in this case is associated with hormonal failure in the body. It is for this reason that the symptom is most pronounced in breast and prostate cancer.

“Certain types of cancer produce substances called cytokines in the body. Cytokines are proteins that play an important role in strengthening the immune system. Their active production only causes fatigue.”the doctors also noted.

According to doctors, such fatigue is difficult to confuse with something: it does not go away even after a long rest or good sleep. The patient always feels exhausted: both physically and mentally.

By the way, for an accurate diagnosis, this symptom alone, of course, is not enough. Chronic fatigue can also occur in the context of other illnesses, as well as stress, hormonal failure and even post-COVID syndrome. In this case, only a doctor will help establish the true cause of the broken state and choose the right treatment.
