Lil Johnny has tequila shots with owners at a home makeover show

Lil Johnny, whose 2003 hit “Get Low” includes the line “to the window, to the wall,” now spends his time thinking about people’s windows and walls.

Lil Johnny and McCaddon have been friends for five years, going back to the time when the rapper was performing home renovation shows while fixing his own pillow in Atlanta after a plumbing problem. “I fell in love with doing this at home and pushing the limits of what I could do,” says Lil Johnny. the hollywood reporter. “I wanted to create this 100 year old tequila bar in my house. So I had to find someone who knows how to paint walls with concrete that’s crumbling a little like it’s too old. And as a result of working with Anitra, we realized we were working really well together, and Anitra’s husband Adam said, ‘You really have to do this together because you’re working really well together and you both have great ideas. ‘ So we finished shooting the pilot, and a few years later, HGTV took over. ”

Mecadon hopes some viewers will be surprised at how restrained and detailed Lil John can be, as well as how considerate he is to the owners. Both Macadon and Lil Johnny mention spending decades traveling to many luxury hotels and helping him create the space in the blink of an eye.

“Because he’s so creative, he’s naturally good at this world,” McCadon said. THR. “He carried out his investigation; assisted programs; I was doing what we did on inspiration boards and taking notes.
