Lionsgate has signed a multi-year deal with Peacock to release films for all Lionsgate films, starting with the studio’s 2022 slate.
The deal with NBCUniversal’s streaming platform brings the films exclusively to the Peacock and NBCUniversal networks to the Pay 2 window, starting in 2024. It will be the first Lionsgate film to hit Peacock. Unbearable weight of enormous talent, With Nicholas Cage.

Lionsgate recently announced a film release agreement with The Roku Channel, offering that platform exclusive rights to the Lionsgate film after Starz’s first paid theatrical window. The first short-term window will be followed by a second, more flexible window later on.
“These deals confirm strong demand for studio films released across all platforms: AVOD, SVOD, Cable and FAST,” said Jim Packer, President of Lionsgate World Television Distribution.
“Movies are among Peacock’s top streaming subtitles, and we continue to expand our premium movie offering from top studios like Lionsgate to ensure consumers consistently enjoy the biggest and best movies all year long,” said Val.
