Cheerfulness Food: 4 Foods That Won’t Let You Fall Asleep Quickly

Eating a large meal before bed (like a tray of beer or a bag of crisps) can cause insomnia and stomach pain at night. But even perfectly healthy foods can keep you awake without causing discomfort. Here’s what you can eat if you don’t have time to sleep yet.

1. Hard cheese

Swiss, Dutch, Cheddar, Parmesan and other hard cheeses are digested quite slowly. And after eating them, nutritionists advise against lying down so as not to cause reflux.

2. Dark Chocolate

If you want something sweet, but at the same time healthy, dark chocolate is what you need. It is rich in polyphenols and is an excellent source of caffeine. And it’s a great choice if tea and coffee are literally pouring out of your ears! A square contains about a quarter of coffee or a half dose of caffeine tea.

3. Burger

Beef is a source of protein and iron and takes a long time to digest, especially if fried medium. With vegetables and bread, it will definitely not let you fall asleep quickly.

4. Matcha

It’s basically green tea powder that’s added to baked goods, smoothies, and some main dishes. It’s high in antioxidants, which is good, and high in sugar, which can raise your blood sugar and demand more carbs. What a dream! Especially since this product is also rich in caffeine.
