Ajay Rochester was spotted running last-minute errands in Beverly Hills on Friday night ahead of Monday's Emmy Awards. The former Biggest Loser Australia host, 57, who now works as a casting producer, kept her look casual for the outing.

She wore a loose blue V-neck T-shirt with black knee-length leggings, metallic pink trainers and a blue-and-beige Los Angeles baseball cap, with her blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail. A bright floral crossbody bag added a splash of colour, while a pair of glasses hung from her neckline.

Rochester arrived at Sephora just two minutes before closing time. Staff at the store helped her track down the products she needed, and she was seen picking out face masks and browsing items alongside an employee during the late-night shopping trip.

From Biggest Loser host to casting producer
Rochester hosted The Biggest Loser Australia from 2006 until 2009 before moving to Los Angeles to build a career in American television. Born in Sydney in 1969, she later transitioned away from hosting and now works as a casting producer.

She has previously described how she moved into casting after her hosting career hit a rough patch. Speaking on Hit radio's Allan and Carly show, Rochester said her job was "crazy and nuts" and that she loved it, adding she wished she had done it her whole life.

She said she was broke in Los Angeles when a friend suggested she would be good at the role. "They said the job is to go on the internet and convince people to go on TV and have the best, or worst, experience of their life! I was like, that sounds epic!" she said.
Working on Netflix hit Outlast
Rochester said she is currently working on Outlast, the reality series in which 16 contestants are forced to survive in the Alaskan wilderness. She said the show had ranked in the top ten most watched programmes on Netflix, which had opened doors for her career.
"With my show in the top ten, I may well be a nominee next year," Rochester told the Daily Mail. She reflected on her career path, saying she left Biggest Loser to host Celebrity Fit Club in the United States, but that the job fell through, leaving her broke and unemployed.
She said she now receives an annual invitation to what she called television's most exclusive event of the year, the Emmy Awards.
Elsewhere during her Friday evening outing, Rochester was seen carrying a red plastic cup while checking her phone as she crossed the street. She was also photographed getting out of a white open-sided car with wicker seats and a fringed canopy, smiling beside the vehicle with one hand resting on its roof and a pink trainer placed on the side step.
