Japanese media company Kadokawa has released the debut teaser trailer for the second season of the anime series Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian.
The upcoming continuation of the romantic comedy project is scheduled to premiere in 2027, with the creators confirming that an exact release date will be announced at a later time.
Kadokawa published the promotional video on the official Roshidere_anime YouTube channel, with all rights to the footage owned by the publishing company. The franchise is widely known among fans by the shorthand title Roshidere.
School romance storyline and voice cast
The story follows Alisa Mikhailovna Kujou, a Russian student who enrolls in a private Japanese institute. Sitting alongside her classmate Masachika Kuze, Alisa constantly flirts with her desk neighbor using the Russian language.
Alisa is secretly in love with Masachika and believes that he cannot understand her foreign remarks. However, Masachika also knows Russian, allowing him to comprehend every romantic comment she makes.
Singer and radio host Sumire Uesaka provides the voice for the lead character Alisa. Uesaka is well known in the Japanese entertainment industry for her fluency in the Russian language, having studied Russian culture during her university education.
