Singer Ariana Grande stayed at private members' club Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire with boyfriend Ricky Alvarez to prepare for her London tour dates. The 33-year-old Wicked actress plans to take time off after her run of gigs at the O2 Arena following ongoing scrutiny over her appearance.
According to The Sun, the American star relaxed at the spa at the luxurious retreat before taking to the stage tonight. Grande and Alvarez travelled on a first-class commercial flight from New York to London before heading to the countryside.

They spent two days unwinding at the club, where Alvarez tried clay-pigeon shooting. A source told The Sun: "Ariana and Ricky arrived in the UK at the start of the week and checked into their five-star London hotel in the capital. But they wanted to escape the madness, so immediately went to Soho Farmhouse for a couple of nights with some friends."

The insider added: "The club has strict rules about not bothering celebs, so it was a perfect place for Ariana to recuperate before her London shows."
Guest Sightings and Previous Retreats
Musician Sabrina Carpenter was also staying at the retreat at the same time, having flown in by helicopter the previous week after secretly recording her Man's Best Friend album there last year. The insider said: "By chance, Sabrina was also on-site, having flown in via helicopter last week. She's one of the biggest stars on the planet, but was happily mixing with other guests in the pool and spa."
Grande previously visited Soho Farmhouse in 2023 with former boyfriend Ethan Slater while filming in the UK. The pair celebrated her 30th birthday at the venue alongside another companion, three weeks before their relationship became public.

An onlooker told the Daily Mail: "Ariana was sitting next to Ethan and [they were with] another woman, who looked like an assistant or a PA, and another guy." The source added: "They were eating breakfast, and they wanted to take a picture of a poached egg that got dropped on the floor by a waitress as she was bringing it over to them. Ariana said it looked cute."
At the time of that trip, Grande had separated from her husband, real estate agent Dalton Gomez, whom she reportedly visited the getaway with the previous year. Her divorce from Gomez became public three weeks later, shortly before her relationship with Slater was reported. Slater and his wife Lilly Jay separated after having a baby in August, and Slater and Grande later announced their split in June 2026.
Social Media Post and Video Reaction
Earlier this week, Grande shared photos of Alvarez on Instagram in an album documenting her travels on the Eternal Sunshine Tour. One photo showed Alvarez, a former backup dancer whom she previously dated in 2015 and 2016, with an arm wrapped around her.

The post arrived days after Grande announced plans to withdraw temporarily from public life once her tour concludes on September 1. Her announcement followed online concern regarding her music video Petal, in which her thin figure showed a visible sternum while playing an aspiring starlet.
In the video, Grande sings: "Tell me who's to blame, is it the people or myself? But this time feels so very different. This is not a cry for help." Online commentators subsequently compared her appearance to singer Karen Carpenter, who died of heart failure at age 32 following anorexia.
Career Break and Future Projects
Two days after the video was released, a representative for Grande confirmed to People that she would be "taking a step back from visibility after she completes the Eternal Sunshine Tour." A family insider told the Daily Mail that her inner circle had "begged" her to take a "break" from her career.
The decision includes her exit from a planned West End revival of the Stephen Sondheim musical Sunday in the Park with George, which was set to reunite her with Wicked co-star Jonathan Bailey.
