American actor Ashton Kutcher has addressed Russian President Vladimir Putin following a strike on the Chornomorets football stadium in Odesa amid recently intensified attacks on Ukraine. Kutcher, who has spoken about a serious illness, wrote that Putin's bombing of the stadium demonstrated either incompetence or desperation, adding that Putin was losing and telling him to surrender.
The Russian military attack occurred on August 7, damaging the Chornomorets football stadium situated in the Taras Shevchenko Central Park of Culture and Leisure. Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office spokesperson Inna Verba said a 28-year-old woman was injured in the attack.
Aid Efforts and Family Background
Kutcher became engaged to Ukrainian-born actress Mila Kunis in 2014, and they officially married on July 4, 2015. The couple are raising two children, an 11-year-old daughter named Wyatt and a 9-year-old son named Dimitri.
In 2022, the actors raised 20 million dollars for Ukrainian relief, transferring the funds to assist people affected by military actions. They thanked the more than 65,000 contributors, noting that while the collective effort would not solve all problems, it would ensure a softer landing for many refugees.
