Even at the production stage, the perfumes are checked for formula stability, so that the perfume does not deteriorate like that. But if you try really hard, then it’s possible! And a common mistake that many of us make is when we carry our favorite perfume in our handbag.
Remember one clear rule: it is unacceptable to carry a bottle of perfume in a bag. Full bottle, we mean. First, this is how perfume can spill (especially if it’s a splash, i.e. a bottle with a ground-in cap) or splash, because no one is at safe from accidental puffs. And secondly, if you regularly leave your bag in direct sunlight – for example, on the office window – the fragrance can deteriorate. This is especially true in the summer, when the sun and hot weather cannot be avoided.
Such a box best protects the perfume from exposure to light and other environmental factors and extends its shelf life. However, you are unlikely to carry boxed perfume in your bag. To say the least, it’s embarrassing. And at the maximum, it quickly deforms the cardboard packaging and deprives it of its protective properties.
And by the way: why would you carry a full bottle? Now in any beauty store or market you can find many compact and affordable atomizers where you can pour your favorite perfume. So it will always be at hand and you can refresh yourself during the day. Perfect!
