The results of “Ms. Russia” are always surprising – and sometimes make you think about how this competition is going in general. On social networks, the owners of the title are frankly poisoned – for their passion for photo editing and beauty injections. We decided to recall what the winners of the competition looked like in recent years – and what scandals their names were associated with.
Recently, the final of the Ms. Russia 2023 contest was held in Moscow. His absolute winner (yes, that’s how the title sounds!) became a 33-year-old resident of the Far East, Natalya Oskar.
Probably, this news would have quickly got lost in the motley stream of daily events if Internet users had not compared photos of Natalia’s coronation with images from her social networks. As they say, there is a difference!
The discussion about the appearance of the new “Ms. Russia” has become so widespread that even bloggers and stars have joined her. Many are sure that Natalya would hardly have received the coveted title without the help of her husband, the well-known billionaire in the Far East, Roman Bezmaternykh.

Such a different “Mrs. Russia”
However, Oscar does not pay attention to criticism in social networks and is already beginning to prepare to participate in “Mrs. World”. However, Natalya will go to the world competition on her own: Tatyana Drugova, another Ms. Russia 2023 contestant, announced her intention to represent Russia. By the way, she is also called the winner of the competition, and for good reason: 60-year-old Tatyana received the main title in the senior category.
In addition, the winners of other categories also have the right to access the world finals: “Russian Supermodel”, “Mrs. Russia World Classic”, “Mrs. Russia Europe”, “Mrs. Russia Universe”, as well as ” Woman of the Universe”. As you can see, every year “Mrs. Russia” presents the country with a whole series of new beauty queens! At the same time, there are several such contests, which is why the number of winners multiplies exponentially…
What else is wrong with the title “Ms. Russia”
For the first time, the Mrs. Russia competition took place 25 years ago, in 1998. However, in parallel with the Moscow competition, an alternative “Mrs. Russia” is held – in different cities of the country. In addition to these two competitions, there is Ms. Russia International – and many other events that probably bring their organizers good income from sponsors and numerous participants.
Of course, the rules of these competitions indicate that the administration will bear the costs of participation in the final and that the participants will only have to pay for the round trip. Nevertheless, the organizers of various competitions under the auspices of “Ms. Russia” have repeatedly been accused of selling titles.
So, in 2011, contestants told reporters that the winner, Yulia Zabozhanskaya, received the crown for a bribe of 300,000 euros. In 2017, the wife of TV presenter Dmitry Dibrov, Polina, was suspected of dishonest victory. Moreover, some winners of the regional and All-Russian stages end up becoming the organizers of new competitions – and even create their own production centers.
It should be understood that ordinary women rarely take part in such events. As a rule, the average Russian woman does not have the opportunity to leave her job, her house, her young children and go to another city to rehearse fashion shows for days, buy evening dresses to ride on stage, record songs or learn dances for competitive selection.
The standard participant in such a competition is probably not a self-made careerist who wants to gain new experience, but the wife of a businessman or a civil servant. Maybe in her youth she was a model or a singer, and now she has her own business or a social project. But the main role in her life is to be a beautiful wife of an important person. And the ribbon and the crown make this role even more enviable.
Despite the fact that several women become “Ms. Russia” every year, we decided to recall the brightest winners of recent years. By the way, you may have heard the names of some of them in other scandalous events and stories!
Ms. Russia-2013
Elvira Yankovskaya
Elvira won the alternate contest where she represented Kazan. At that time, Yankovskaya had her own clothing store, and years later she became a star designer.
Last year, blogger Lerchek accused Elvira of fraud, buying things that were burnt and filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against her. At this time, many well-known clients turned their backs on Yankovskaya. However, law enforcement dropped the charges against the stylist.
Ms. Russia-2014
Christina Belenkaya
At the time of participating in the competition, 39-year-old Christina had five children – and in subsequent years the woman adopted four more. The woman said she had come to see Ms Russia to draw attention to the activities of her charitable foundation.
Ms. Russia-2015
Irina Kirsanova
After winning the competition, Irina entered the best participants of “Mrs. World”. Today, Kirsanova is the director of Mrs. Russia, organizes beauty contests for children, and also runs her own production center.

Ms. Russia-2016
Elena Blinovskaya
Yes, yes, do not be surprised: the public career of the most famous “fairy of desires” began precisely with a beauty contest! At that time, Elena was 35 years old, and she represented her native Yaroslavl. At the same time, Blinovskaya did not go to the final of “Mrs. World” in Chicago. Probably because I was dreaming of completely different things…
Ms. Russia-2017
Polina Dibrova
Many were skeptical about the victory of Dmitry Dibrov’s wife: and the big age difference with her husband was the main reason for this.
By the way, Polina and Dmitry also met at a beauty contest. In 2006, 17-year-old Polina took part in the Miss Body contest in her hometown of Rostov-on-Don. Dibrov was about 50 years old, and he was a member of the jury – and was immediately fascinated by the young Rostovite.
Ms. Russia-2018
Anna Telegina
Anna Telegina has positioned herself as a sociologist, eco-volunteer and happy mother of two children. However, in social networks the beauty queen was mentioned only in terms of excessive plasticity and unsuccessful makeup, which made the representative of Tver look like an inanimate doll.
Ms. Russia-2019
Ekaterina Nishanova
Perhaps the 33-year-old blonde from Gelendzhik suffered more than other girls because of the hate in social networks. Internet users discussed Ekaterina’s appearance so negatively and wrote many unpleasant messages to her that “Mrs. Russia-2019” refused to go to the world competition in China.
Ms. Russia-2020
Daria Ivanova
In 2020, Miss World, Miss Universe and other high-profile beauty pageants were not held due to coronavirus restrictions. Nevertheless, the organizers of “Ms. Russia” decided not to give up on organizing a vacation for those who want it!
The competition was then won by a mother of many children from Nizhny Novgorod, 32-year-old Daria Ivanova. Throughout the acute phase of the pandemic, the girl was preparing for the competition. She was also involved in charity work: together with her husband, she delivered food to pensioners and low-income families.
Ms. Russia-2021
Anna Philippova
Successful restaurateur, mother of three sons … According to Anna, it was not easy for her to leave her native Novokuznetsk, leaving all her belongings and belongings for the sake of competition. But it seems that the beauty queen got a taste of it: and now, with enviable regularity, she appears in fashion shows and new contests in her cheerful crown.
Ms. Russia-2022
Nina Bannaya
Last year, the crown of the competition was won by a 40-year-old Muscovite, wife and mother of many children, Nina Banna. The woman positioned herself as a businesswoman who owns her own hotel in the Czech Republic. Nina boasted of knowing a number of national stars and happily appeared on the red carpet of various awards. And last spring, Bannaya became the host of the Ms. Moscow contest.
