Golden rule of a pedicure: do it in the first minutes after the procedure so that your heels stay smooth twice as long

Keeping your heels perfectly smooth after a pedicure is easier than you think. The main thing is to follow a special rule that not all masters talk about.

The pedicure is a pleasure in its own right. It happens when the skin of the heels regains an unprecedented softness, life seems to change: it becomes easier to walk, to put on something (especially tights!) and even just to lie down. No roughness! Only pleasant sensations of your own body movements 🙂

We hope you will use foot cream regularly to prolong the softness of your heels before your next session with the master.

However, the main care for the heels should be shown immediately after the pedicure. Namely, put new, clean socks on your feet.

After grinding and peeling, the skin of the heels becomes very tender and receptive. And the socks you wore before a pedicure – even for a very short time – are covered with microparticles of dead skin from the inside. When the heel comes into contact with the fabric, they sink imperceptibly into the skin. And they affect its quality.

Of course, all of these processes are invisible to the human eye. However, due to the aggressive scaling, the heel will instantly lose its original softness, and you will begin to notice dryness and roughness sooner than if you hadn’t put on “old” socks.

Chiropodists advise bringing a clean pair of socks to put on before you leave. And in some salons, they distribute new socks. After all, among other things, it protects the legs from possible inflammation due to bacteria: for example, with cut fingers when cutting nails.
