Conventional acne treatments such as salicylic acid, niacinamide, retinol or azelaic acid are certainly very effective, but on the one hand they can blow the budget, and on the other hand they have side effects: redness, peeling and tightness. This is what drives us to look for alternative (read: homemade) ways to improve the condition of the skin.
