The show in California was part of the American artist's ongoing Wanted Man Tour, which kicked off on July 7.

He told fans in Sacramento that he was extremely sorry and had been fighting like crazy all afternoon to make his voice presentable for the evening show.

Following the North American dates, Boone is scheduled to take a one-and-a-half-month break from performing, provided no additional dates are added to his itinerary.
He will resume the tour in Asia with a performance in Seoul, South Korea, followed by concerts in Tokyo, Japan, and Singapore. Boone will then spend the remainder of that month touring Australia, with scheduled stops in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney.
