Flor Paes died this Thursday 23, at the age of 90, in Rio de Janeiro

This Thursday, the 23rd, Tell Paes greeted his mother, Flor Paès, who died at the age of 90. The matriarch of the family was admitted to the São João de Deus hospital, in Rio de Janeiro. On her Instagram, the actress mourned the loss of her and talked about her last moments of her with her mother.




“Dear friends, our Flor left today, at 1pm, holding my hand, next to her niece and daughter-in-law. I was looking out the bedroom window, a hummingbird visited us here in the hospital and I realized it was she needed to go, flap her wings, fly. I held her hand and told her she could rest, that we would be fine, because she created us to be loving and strong,” Dira said.

The artist also told how he will remember Dona Flor. “We are grateful for the privilege of drinking from this inexhaustible fountain of wisdom, music and poetry that she loved so much, the blood of an artist flowing through my veins. So much remains of her. Such a legacy of generosity, affection, elegance, endurance, religiosity, sincerity and a smile of at least 12 cm. How lucky to have your daughter”,

Finally, the actress thanked the hospital staff for all their assistance and care, as well as revealing that her mother came out lucid. “How much lucidity he showed until the last moment. Now he will sow our gardens with his strength and his faith. I feel sorry for those who could not say goodbye to their loved ones as I was able to experience. I love you, mom. I will love you forever. A mother’s love is everlasting and never ending,” she said.
