Jacqueline Kennedy, wife of John F. Kennedy

Jackie was born into a wealthy family and educated at top universities in Europe and the United States. She worked as a journalist and reporter, was well acquainted with history and had extensive knowledge in the field of art. All this allowed her to find herself in the highest spheres quite early, where she met her future husband.

With her natural sophistication and charm, she won his heart. Jacqueline became a loving and caring wife, at least in public she made such an impression. Possessing impeccable taste, the first lady was a style icon of her time, and every fashion magazine printed her photos. Later, she received national recognition by declaring herself a leader in the fight to preserve the cultural heritage of the United States.

Natalya Sedova, wife of Leon Trotsky

Natalia was the second wife of a revolutionary. The future spouses met in Paris, where Sedova studied natural sciences. They returned to Russia together, upon their return Natalia became the head of the museum department of the People’s Commissariat of Education.

During the revolutionary years, she managed to save many works of art from looting, including the famous Spasskoye-Lutovinovo estate. Colleagues noted that she was a caring leader: through her connections, she provided food to employees and saved them from arrest.

When Trotsky was expelled from the Soviet Union, Natalia followed him. In 1936, the family rushed to Mexico to escape Stalin’s agents. After her husband’s murder, she wrote her biography and continued to keep in touch with the revolutionaries.

Lisbeth Palme, wife of Olof Palme

The wife of the Swedish Prime Minister was born in an aristocratic family, but she refused the titles, because she always had an active life position and decided to link her fate with social activities. She met Olof Palme at one of the student conventions. A few years later, they became husband and wife. After graduating from university, she worked as a child psychologist and then in the county social department of Stockholm.

In 1986, Lisbeth was widowed – her husband was shot dead in front of her as they returned from the cinema. But even after her death, she did not stop doing what she loved and became president of UNICEF, where she fought against the sexual exploitation of children. Lisbeth also sat on the Rwandan Genocide Inquiry Committee.

Maria Maksakova, wife of Denis Voronenkov

Maria was born in a creative family, which could not but be reflected in the choice of profession. As soon as the girl graduates from the Academy. Gnesins, she is immediately accepted into the theater troupe. And already in 2011, Maksakova became a soloist at the Mariinsky Theater. The beauty also played several roles in the film. Most memorable was his work in the melodrama Between the Notes, or the Tantric Symphony.

One of the episodes of her life was connected with politics – for several years Maria was a deputy of the State Duma from the United Russia party. In 2015, the singer married fellow MP Denis Voronenkov, and in 2017 they immigrated to Ukraine together.

At the end of March of the same year, the politician was shot on one of the streets of kyiv. After the death of her husband, Maria continued to engage in creativity. Now she dedicates her time to the work of the fund to support talented children.

Anna Duritskaya, girlfriend of Boris Nemtsov

The future model was born in Ukraine, in the most ordinary family. Thanks to her spectacular appearance, she managed to get into the famous kyiv model agency Amodels, and then into the Moscow Star model agency. This allowed him to enter the highest metropolitan society and attend secular parties.

At one of these parties, the beauty met Nemtsov, and later the acquaintance became something more. In February 2015, the politician was shot dead by unidentified people in the center of Moscow in front of the model. The girl was very upset by what happened, closed in on herself and even deleted pages on social networks. Now Anna continues her career and engages in charity work for orphans.
