Chris Rock is once again embroiled in a Will Smith controversy. The comedian allegedly made a controversial joke about the actor in a preview of the humorous special for Netflix, which will be shown this Saturday 4. There is no information yet if the program will be made available in Brazil.
Second New York PostChris made a sour comment about the actor and the film Emancipationwhich tells the story, based on true events, of an enslaved man known as “Whipped Peter”.
“I’ve been rooting for Will Smith all my life. I watched the other day Emancipation just so I could watch him get whipped,” Rock reported.
In the feature, the paper reveals that the joke is part of the material to be featured in the special Chris Rock: Selective outragethe first global event broadcast live on Netflix.
