Mexican actress Rebecca Jones has died at the age of 65

22-year-old Mexican actress Rebecca Jones, 65, died on Wednesday. The actress was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2017 and has since been treated for the disease. The news is from the Associated Press.




In a statement sent to the press, representatives of the actress announced the death.

“It is with deep sadness that we want to inform you of the death of our beloved and admired Rebecca Anne Jones Fuentes. She was always accompanied by her loved ones, she passed away in peace and with deep gratitude to her audience for which she worked all her life (21 May 1957 – March 22, 2023).

Born in Mexico City, Rebecca was born in 1957. The daughter of an American father and a Mexican mother, she had six siblings.

His first appearance on television screens dates back to 1982, with the telenovela Love never dies, already in the theater, his debut took place with the pièce, Save in Los Delfines. The most famous telenovela she participated in was “Cuna de lobos” when she played Vilma De la Fuente de Larios, in 1986.

In the same year she married the actor Alejandro Camacho, together they had only one son: Maximiliano. The couple remained together for 26 years when they split in 2011. Both became famous for their performances in soap operas such as crystal empire AND Love again.
