Mulder’s Competitor: How The X-Files’ Most Handsome Actor Has Changed In 30 Years

The series “The X-Files” is one of the main TV hits of the 90s. It was impossible to pull away! Watch how one of the main cast has changed during this time.

We say: “The X-Files” – we mean Mulder and Scully. A couple of agents played by David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson really became the soul of the whole project. But there were many other interesting characters in the series. And if Duchovny and Anderson had fairly successful careers even after The X-Files, then many of their on-set colleagues remained cast in the same role.

Such is the fate of Canadian actor Nicholas Lee. You will certainly remember him for the role of one of the main antagonists of the series – the insidious Alex Krycek, who pretended to be good and gentle, but turned out to be a villain.

But one can understand and forgive those who didn’t immediately recognize him as an agent of The Smoker – Krycek (and Nicholas Lee) was incredibly handsome and charming.

It is curious that at first Lee had an episodic role and played a completely different character, but the producers liked him so much that they finally gave him a more solid role.

Another curious fact: in the story, Krycek is of Russian-American origin, he is the son of two Cold War immigrants.

Nicholas, after The X-Files, has done a lot and continues to do so until now, only they still recognize him as that same Krycek. And Lee, it seems, is not offended – he happily takes part in fan events, signs autographs and does not refuse selfies.
