Singer will receive chemotherapy and radiation therapy sessions
Singer Simony revealed, this Wednesday, 26, that she will be undergoing cancer treatment again. She was diagnosed with large bowel disease, which was discovered in August last year, and she finished the first phase of treatment in December.
He used Instagram to post a video of his doctor, Fernando Maluf, explaining next steps to his fans.
“I have always been and will be super transparent with you, prayers, love, faith is what I always want from all of you. I’ll come here tomorrow to talk to you. Prepare for this fight. One day at a time,” she wrote in the post.
The doctor starts the video explaining that she has had a great response to her chemo and radiation treatment, but that she will have to come back.
“This response was very important, but there are still points of disease activity that will require us to return to chemotherapy treatment plus immunotherapy. Simony is enthusiastic, positive, she is an inspiring person. We are confident that this treatment will generate a large response. Let’s hope,” said the oncologist.
