How brutal Mark Strong looked with hair and when he went bald

Today we cannot imagine Mark Strong with hair. A clean shaven head is part of his corporate image, which only emphasizes his charisma. And yet, the actor has not always been bald. Voice found out when Strong started losing his hair and what he still looks like with hair.

In an interview with The Telegraph in 2009, Strong said he started losing his hair in his mid-twenties, a heartbreaking experience for any young man that left him depressed and embarrassed.

Obviously, in the early years, hair loss has not yet taken on a serious scale. Indeed, at 27, Strong played Constable Gibb in the BBC series The Bill (it was in 1990), here he still had quite impressive hair.

However, apparently soon after, the bald patches already became noticeable. In 1991, Strong played a Nazi in Larry Elikann’s film Against the Wind, but only appeared on screen with a cap – of course, that was also required by the picture, but one cannot not exclude that it is also a successful disguise.

Finally, everything becomes clear if you look at the footage from Strong’s next film, released in 1994 – Trapped. By this time, Mark Strong had indeed gone bald.

However, even after that, the actor could be seen on the screen with hair – of course, wigs came to the rescue. Thus, the role of the actor was not limited to the roles of clean-shaven and brutal men. For example, in 1996 he played Mr. Knightley in the television adaptation of Jane Austen’s classic Emma.
