The Princess of Wales wore an Alexander McQueen gown for an event at Westminster Abbey
Kate Middleton has decided to pay tribute to Diana, mother of William who died in a car accident in Paris in 1997, and to Queen Elizabeth II during the coronation of King Charles III this Saturday 6, at Westminster Abbey.
For the special ceremony, the Princess of Wales opted for a set of pearls and diamonds from her mother-in-law and the George VI Festoon necklace, a gift from King George VI to Elizabeth II.
As happened at the wedding as William, Kate opted for an Alexander McQueen dress. The piece is ivory with flowers of the four nations, with silver bars and thread embroidery.
Along with William and their children Charlotte and Louis, Kate entered Westminster Abbey shortly after King Charles.
