The director of ‘Travessia’ vents on the performance of Jade Picon

This Friday, 05/05, the last episode of the soap opera was aired Intersection TO Globe TV. And, after being criticized for his performance, Jade Picone was praised by the director, Mauro Mendonça Filho.

Through an Instagram post, he opened his heart and vented by praising and commenting on Jade’s evolution in acting, as well as sharing a few moments with the former BBB.

“My dear, finish the soap opera a winner, okay. The strength you have shown in enduring and overcoming criticism, few people would have. Not to mention the stomach. I’ve told you countless times (and also to anyone who would actually listen) that we filmmakers always like your performance, right from the start.“, it started.

Then, Mauro highlighted Jade’s evolution as an actress: “I have never lacked faith in you. Sure you were learning, the lack of skill, the nervousness, not knowing what to do with your hands, not modulating your voice were evident. Normally, actors develop in the background before showing themselves to the audience. It takes a lot of courage to thrive in the claws of millions. So much for hate, which, as you know better than me, feeds on crumbs. Since it wasn’t worth feeding, we opted for silence and just working hard. You didn’t lack courage and commitment. Plus resilience, discipline, dedication, humility, and above-average intelligence to learn the craft of acting“.

The director of Travessia also spoke about the emergence of Jade Picon and the relationship with the public. “You have emerged as an influencer and on the BBB. The public knew more about her than her work as an actress. It didn’t take long before they said you were doing it yourself. But people are unaware of how many established actors play themselves. There are those who like to compose, but there are those who adapt their characters to different characters. And there’s nothing wrong with that“, he continued.

Finally, Mauro Mendonça stated that Jade is an actress and gave advice: “But the actors are smart about preserving their lives. So the ground is cleared, to be seen only as performers. This is the best advice I can give you: preserve Jade. Every woman is an ocean of mysteries. Keep them for yourself, your loved ones and your work as an actor. Because that’s who you are now: an actress. We often see each other out and about, as an audience, or in needlework, or at an upcoming job“.
