“The surgery was a success. We had a total removal of the tumor with a margin and that means that, at the moment, my body is free of these cells, but the cure is a process,” she said.

In the caption, the singer thanked the “tireless network of support” she has received. She also stressed that she will undergo rehabilitation and will remain with the colostomy bag for three months. “I will continue to take care of myself, taking care of healthy habits so this disease doesn’t come back,” she said. “I am very happy, very grateful.”

Last week, the artist said the surgery took 14 hours. “I am well cared for by the doctors. Special thanks to all the warrior team of Dr. Francisco Teixeira Júnior,” she wrote. “Now it’s one day at a time. Today I was able to sit up and I’m still here fighting. God, it’s okay!” he said then.
