75 years of Tony Ramos: see how the actor’s children are doing

Tony Ramos, one of the greatest artists of teledramaturgy, turns 75 this Friday, 25/08. An icon of soap operas and films, the actor is also a source of inspiration for his children, the fruit of his marriage Lidiane Barbosa, with whom he has lived for over 53 years.

Unlike the father, the heirs Rodrigo AND Andrew they chose to stay out of the artistic world, keeping their personal lives private. But they recently made a rare television appearance, where they gave touching testimonials for Tony.

Rodrigowho is a doctor, was full of praise when discussing his father’s career: “One of the things that differentiates being the son of a famous person is that I’ve had some opportunities to measure the extent of your fame. When fifty Kazakh women stopped you in the subway, you and my mother, in Paris, and surrounded you. Not all they have a father who has known two Popes, right?

Andréa was also present on the occasion, who narrated a video with several family photos, where parents and children appear together. “Dad, I was here remembering that school sporting event I attended, running well, I thought I’d make it, up front, until someone yelled, ‘come on, Andréa, there’s only one lap left.’ With this information, I passed out. When I woke up, you were beside me, smiling, and it always was.”he said.

And he kept on saying: “Why do I remember this moment? Because I am so grateful for the happy and difficult times that have brought me this far. But today I want to talk to you above all about the gratitude I have for you. The gratitude, the sweetness and the hope that you have always looked the world and the human being. Deep and sincere gratitude for you, dad, I love you, Andréa”.
