“One month for my total recovery,” says Ana Furtado of ending her cancer treatment

Ana Furtado shared with his followers on his profile on Instagram this Friday, the first, an exciting milestone. The presenter said that there is a month left to finish the treatment against breast cancer and be considered “completely cured”. In the video he appears inside the plane, en route to New York with her husband Cuteand says he went into the final stretch on the hormone blocker.

“September 1st. I’m here on a flight, I’m going to New York on vacation and I wanted to share something amazing with you,” he said. “I have one month left to finish taking my hormone blocker and consider myself completely cured. Victory is there, within reach, in a month,” she added.

In the post’s caption, Ana says she always felt victory was close. “Exactly 1 month to go until my full recovery! Victory is right there. I see it close, close…I always see it! And I’m sure it’s mine!” she wrote.

New book

Ana was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2018. In April this year, the host celebrated five years of cancer remission and has announced the production of an opera to chronicle his fight against the disease. “Every time I talk about this topic, I feel that I have helped or inspired someone. I also feel that I should write a book… And I haven’t decided to put it into practice?” he announced then.

The actress said the book will be “a personal statement to share anxieties, empower, demystify disease, bring hope.” “We never know how much an honest story can impact someone. But if it helps at least one person, it will be worth it,” she stressed.
