Diego Pupe, former advisor to Jair Renan Bolsonaro, has exposed details of the relationship he claims to have had with the son of former president Jair Bolsonaro. The case gained notoriety after the publication of conversations between the two, in which they talked about sexual acts and jealousy. Pupe denied the statements of Renan Bolsonaro, who denied romantic involvement.
They lived together
In a conversation with columnist Fabia Oliveira, Pupe said: “I lived in the same house as him. I lived there for almost a year. His mother didn’t know about our case and I don’t know what excuse she gave to keep me there. We didn’t talk about this topic.”
He also confirmed that he slept in the room next to Renan and that they were intimate, although they did not share the same bed. She revealed screenshots of conversations to prove it. In an interview with Leo Dias, Renan suggested that the message exchange had been manipulated and that his cell phone did not have a password, which is why Pupe may have written to the device. One of the messages shown by Leo Dias featured Renan saying: “I love you, man. But don’t leave me for this. You don’t want to have sex with me anymore, now do you want to leave me, dammit? Vivian is sleeping, let’s have a quickie before my mother gets wake up. Come here to my room! Stop the show, please.”
The former councilor denied accusations that the messages had been manipulated. “I don’t need to manipulate. Everything I say, I prove. The one who is trying to manipulate is Renan, who even changed her haircut to look more like a man,” she said.
Regarding access to Renan’s cell phone, Pupe was emphatic: “Ever since I met him, he had a password. He was always very careful with his cell phone. I didn’t have access to his cell phone or social media.”

According to Pupe, the title of “counsellor” was a facade to hide the relationship. “It’s a joke to say that I worked in exchange for advertising. It’s bizarre! I don’t work in exchange, not even on my social networks. I’m a digital influencer, I earn from the internet, I have my own companies. I earn legally. It’s a joke!” , he underlined.
Pupe also denied any links to the Lula government, as Renan also accused, and said his goal is not to seek fame.
At the end of the day he published a post on Instagram, in which he said he had been “exposed for having had an affair with Jair Renan Bolsonaro”. “Right now, I live in constant exposure, including reliance on security, because of my relationship with him.”
