“Don’t take drugs without a prescription,” says Sidney Sampaio, recalling his fall from the 5th floor of a hotel

Nearly two months after being discharged, the actor stresses that he was not suffering from depression at the time and blames the incident on medications

Sidney Sampaio recalled details about the reasons that led him to fall from the 5th floor window of a Rio de Janeiro hotel last August during an interview with Sensationalfrom RedeTV!, broadcast on Thursday 19th.

“I felt like I was being chased, it was a feeling of terror, of panic, horrible. Then, fatally, I ended up falling from there, throwing myself. But it had nothing to do with depression or wanting to take my own life, imagine, in any case… I have already suffered from depression, but 10 years ago I treated myself, I took drugs, I went to the doctor, I did everything correctly and thank God it was overcome”, he explained.

Elsewhere Sidney Sampaio commented: “I decided to take some medicine to try to sleep, but I had already had two shots of vodka before dinner, it was mixed in the end, I forgot about it. It was my sister’s medicine, which I thought was another one of his medications, so here’s some advice: please don’t take medications without a prescription, it’s very serious.”

“It had nothing to do with it [depressão]. I was in great shape, excited, working… It was really a question of drugs, of side effects mixed with the drink, “she concluded.
