Adriana Benevides, mother of Ana Clara Benevides, the 23-year-old girl who died at the show Taylor Swift last Friday, the 17th, in Rio de Janeiro, he thanked the donations and revealed that they managed to raise the money they needed. Fans of the American singer have opened an online fundraiser to send donations to the family. Watch the video above.

On social media Adriana thanked her for her help. “Thank God, this morning we got enough money to do everything we wanted. Thank God, many people donated,” she said.

The mother and father spoke about their difficulties with their daughter’s death in an interview with Fantastic Sunday 19. One of the concerns was the delay in transporting the body. “Unfortunately we are paying for everything. And my daughter hasn’t arrived yet,” Adriana said.

Now, the only desire of José Weiny Machado, Ana Clara’s father, is to understand the cause of death. The death certificate mentions waiting for “lab results.”

In a statement, Rio’s city council lamented the loss and said that responsibility for events at the stadium lies with the company in charge of organizing the shows, Time For Fun (T4F).

T4F, also through a press release, reports that it has contacted Ana Clara’s family and reiterates that it is available to provide all necessary assistance.

“You still don’t realize. It’s difficult for you, because you will come to take your daughter… And she will be dead,” the father says.

Adriana also spoke, moved. “My daughter is my angel. God took her, but at the happiest moment of her life, which was all she wanted, it was all. ‘Mom, if I can’t go to this show, I’m going to die,’ she me he said it,” I count.

Ever since she was a teenager, Ana Clara’s dream was to go to a Taylor Swift concert. She agreed with her college friend, Daniele Menin, to go together. To share every stage of the journey with her divorced parents, Ana Clara created a WhatsApp group entitled “Ana vai pro Rio”.

That was Ana Clara’s first plane trip and she wanted to share every moment with her parents. “There (And) the Rio-Niterói bridge, there (And) the Sugar Loaf, behind there is Christ the Redeemer”, Ana showed, from the apartment where she was staying with her friend.

In one of the conversations via message, Adriana says she advised her daughter to take care of herself, asking her to eat properly and not to forget to keep hydrated. “‘Mom, I’m going to eat a lot of granola bars, because I’m going to be there for a long time. I want to be first in line, I want to be close to her, Mom.’ I said, ‘go, my daughter, you will make it’.”

On the day of the show, at exactly 9:43 in the morning, Ana Clara announces: “Guys, I’m going to the show.” The father replies, “Have fun. Have fun.” She simply didn’t know that this was her last contact with her daughter.

Around 7pm Ana Clara’s father received a phone call from the doctor. “Then I didn’t hear anything anymore. I dropped my cell phone there, my wife came to talk to me. I was walking down the street. I was stunned, I didn’t know what I was doing. I tried not to believe it. because I still try not to believe it,” he says.

According to Adriana, the doctor reported that the rescue was quick and that the resuscitation attempts lasted more than 20 minutes.

On the day of Ana Clara’s death, one of the highest temperatures of the year was recorded in Rio, reaching 40°C, with a thermal sensation close to 60°C. Now we need to wait for the IML report to reveal the cause of death.
