Selena Gomez Suggests Next Album Could Be Her Last: ‘I’m Tired’

Selena Gomez has delivered some disheartening news to fans of her music. In a podcast interview Without intelligencewhich will be released on January 8, the singer and actress revealed that she plans to release another album and then focus on her acting career.

According to the magazine Rolling Stone, Selena used to enjoy releasing music and touring, but now she’s feeling tired. “I started having a lot of fun with music and touring,” she said. “But I was doing my own TV show [Os Feiticeiros de Waverly Place, de 2007] at the same time and I thought it was really funny, so I continued. But the older I get, the more I think: ‘I would like to establish myself,'” she revealed, specifying that she only wants to dedicate herself to one niche.

She then confessed that focusing entirely on her singing career was not in her plans. “I wanted to be an actress, I never intended to be a singer full time, but apparently that hobby turned into something else,” she added. “I don’t consider myself the best singer, but I know how to tell stories and I love being able to write songs,” she confesses.
