Makeup artist Karen Bachini was criticized on social media after an X (formerly Twitter) user questioned the R$2,000 amount she charged for tattoos. Karen, who thrives on her tutorials and honest makeup product reviews, recently began her career as a tattoo artist and is unhappy with the criticism she has received.
“Shall we talk about tattooing? Let’s go. I started tattooing about a year ago, I have never been charged money, at the beginning I donated to Casa Neon and now I donate to a fund for Minas Tattoo which aims to help women tattoo artists who don’t have the same conditions as me”, she wrote on her online profile on the night of this Monday the 29th.
Karen said that she is, yes, a beginner and that she has never hidden this information from clients. “I have never promised perfect results, I have studied a lot of tattoos, drawing and watercolours, I have already done a course on biosafety because I am also a body piercer, but even so I have studied all the biosafety of tattooing, so no client is taking any risks” , he added.

The makeup artist continued her rant by saying she doesn’t understand how they can question the price of an artist’s work.
“We must value the artist and not devalue his work,” he wrote.
With all the repercussions of the case, several tattoo artists have taken advantage of the fact that Karen Bachini’s name ended up in the most discussed topics on X to exhibit their art that costs their clients less than R$ 2,000.

I take advantage of Karen Bachini’s tour to publicize my boyfriend’s work.
He has been tattooing for almost 2 years and works really hard, there are days when he spends more than 12 hours tattooing and he does it with great joy. The person who appreciated the work and can thank him on Instagram is @aleff_tattoo.jpeg pic.twitter.com/8GNfNO6LFD
