Romario confirms the death of his mother, Dona Lita: ‘I miss her immensely’

Former footballer and senator Romario confirmed the death of his mother, Dona Manuela Ladislau. On social media she published a video with images next to her and a text in which she laments the great loss. Known as Dona Lita, she was 86 years old and the cause of her death was not revealed.

“With infinite sadness and already with immense nostalgia, I physically say goodbye to my great love, to my queen, to the woman who gave me life and guided me on the path of honesty. My beloved mother went to meet Heavenly Father. The pain we feel right now is inexplicable, but we are certain that the love Dona Lita gave us is the most precious thing we have“, start.

AND Romario following: “Everyone who follows me knows my mother because she has always been with me. It was she who got emotional, who moved me and who moved Brazil by breaking bottles with every goal I scored at the 1994 World Cup. Today I lost my mother, but I also lost my best friend, my most enthusiastic fan and my life teacher.”

Finally, the former player thanked his mother for everything she achieved and for all the moments spent together. “Mom, you will live forever in our hearts. Thank you FOR EVERYTHING!!! Rest in peace next to the Lord and hug my father for us. I love you forever! I ask Heavenly Father for the strength to face this very difficult moment alongside my family”he wrote.
