Paulo Gustavo’s children no longer live in Brazil; know the reason

Thales Bretas, widower of Paulo Gustavo, moved with his children to Australia

Thales Bretas, widower of Paulo Gustavo, decided to spend some time in Australia with his 4-year-olds, Gael and Romeu. The doctor moved to the country in 2023 and did not reveal how long he intends to stay.

According to Jornal Extra, Thales moved to the countryside trying to get closer to his sister and nephew, who are almost the same age as the little ones and live in Australia. Furthermore, the doctor believes it is important that Paulo Gustavo’s heirs learn English from an early age.

It is worth mentioning that Gael and Romeu are the result of the relationship between Paulo Gustavo and Thales Bretas. In fact, the twin brothers were created by a surrogate mother in the United States.

Thales Bretas’ statement

In March, Paulo Gustavo’s widower spoke about the change on social media. “Since I arrived last year and lived more closely with my sister, brother-in-law and nephew, I decided to plan to spend a few months with them this year. Spending time with my cousin, who he is almost the same age as my children, he is very beautiful, very healthy, and I miss my sister a lot. I am a solo father, after everything that has happened in my life, I would never leave them and travel for so long.” , Thales said.

Furthermore, he reiterated that he misses his home country and his work. “We miss our family who remained in Brazil, and also our friends. I really miss my office, but I’m sure it is run with all the care and love,” the doctor said.

Although he did not say how many months they will remain in Australia, Paulo Gustavo’s widower said it will be a few months. “I’m dying of nostalgia, I’m dying to return, but I’ve decided to live this short period of a few months here, with my sister, with our family. I want to develop the kids’ English, live a lot in nature, because here we live much more open, on the beach, on the playground,” Bretas said.

Finally, the doctor also recalled that the routine in Brazil does not allow what they are experiencing there. “And live the experience of being even closer to my children, because in Rio, Brazil, I work a lot in the office and with my side projects, including the internet. This is why I’m a bit absent here too. I live a lot in person and not much digitally. It’s a change of attitude and life.”
