Claudia Raia has revealed that his contract with TV Globo expires in July this year, after 40 years at the broadcaster. The 57-year-old actress, who is currently starring in the musical Tarsila, the Brazilian, she told TV Fama that she is “very grateful” for her time at the channel.

“My contract with Globe ends now, in July, after 40 uninterrupted years. So I’m very grateful to have stayed there, to have formed my entire professional personality there. Many hands have been extended to me and I am really very grateful,” she said.

Claudia doesn’t yet have any projects for TV or cinema, but she already has new projects in mind for the theatre. “Now it’s time to do other things. I don’t have any audiovisual projects, but we have a lot of theater projects and things keep appearing. I also think that my second act, more free, is beautiful and that it is part of this moment that I am living,” she explained.

To experience the iconic artist of Brazilian modernism, Claudia He did a marathon test and lost 15 kilos. “We do seven sessions a week and it’s really hard. I’m active, I take ballet lessons, I train, it’s a very busy day. I prepared for this show, I lost almost 15 kilos during rehearsals and with my diet,” she concluded.
