Father of three, the former actor says the role is practically a family legacy. “I work in intermediation with my properties, building, selling, renting… I renovate, I build from scratch. At the moment I am renovating an attic in Recreio. I “improve” the property to sell or rent it later. I like working with construction. My grandfather, my father’s father, came from the center,” he explains.

Even before becoming a soap opera star in the 1990s, Bataglin was already acting in the theater. While still a teenager, she made her tabalado debut with the classical piece Sand Captainsan adaptation of the work of the same name by Jorge Amado.

From then on his career took off. However, he was surprised to see the frenetic pace of work slow down over time. “Very soon it seemed that actors had nothing left to offer. Demand began to decline. I’m not ashamed to talk about it,” he says.

He also drew attention to possible ageism in the television environment, but said he was satisfied with his professional history. “Abroad, actors my age continue to thrive. With me, it changed gradually. The intensity of the work began to decrease. I haven’t stopped working. I’m proud of my CV, I’ve worked with great actors,” he reflects.
